Summer Update: Ukraine-Bound

Hello friends & family, I’m excited to let you know that I will heading back to Ukraine! I first came for a one month internship in 2018, returned again for the whole summer of 2019, and will be back for a year starting in August (2020).

I will be working with Our Legacy (based in Ukraine), Can Do Kids (based in Illinois) and the local church in based in Kamenka (several hours south of Kiev). My roles will be English Teacher and Can Do Kids Club leader. My role with Can Do Kids will be working with the local church to start CDK clubs in the area. Hanna English School, the school I will teach at, was started by Our Legacy with the intention of providing both a quality English education and a platform to disciple those within the school’s community. I recently finished helping teaching some of the students via Zoom during quarantine and look forward to joining them in person!

I’m counting down the days until I can join the team in Ukraine; I can’t wait to see what God will do there in this next year!
