Help Our 2024 Project Needs
CDK’s Project Prayer List shows high-impact ministry projects that are not part of plans and budget. Please pray that God will provide so we can move these off the prayer list. KENYA WATER PROJECTS - $15,300
We have a waiting list of schools and communities who would like to have easy access to a clean water source. In the words of one head teachers, these water catchment systems are a game-changer! One water tank project costs $15,300.
KENYA SponsorshipS - $35/month
CDK has sponsored more than 100 kids, many from primary school through college. And several of our graduates are now not only supporting their own families but are sponsoring the next generation of students through CDK. However, the list of kids needing sponsors to remain in school is much larger than the list of those we have been able to help. Sponsorship is $35 / month and makes sure they remain in school, have supplies, are are fed and checked in on.
KENYA BIBLE Project - $10/bible
We have a dream of providing every school we work with (that is 78 and counting) with at least 100 Bibles to be used for Christian Religious Education (CRE) class. BIbles are $10 each (cost plus shipping/distribution).
PHILIPPINES BASKETBALL COURT - $7,000
Open Door Church in Bangued Philippines hosts CDK’s largest club and would like to add a basketball court. Basketball is a popular sport in Philippines and is a great tool to bring kids together in a safe place. The cost of this basketball court is around $7,000. There are currently no basketball courts within several miles of the proposed site.
